“Talking about your feelings has helped me the most because for most of my life I suppressed a lot of the things that I was struggling with because I didn’t know how to communicate what I was feeling. And so I would just lash out or use other things to cope. And it didn’t work. It didn’t help, made things worse.” – Emily Davis
“So either talking to someone or writing down what you’re going through as often as you feel necessary is extremely beneficial and not being ashamed of what you’re going through. Because, again, we all struggle to some degree with something. We’re all human at the end of the day, and nobody’s perfect. And just to continue to remember that.”
