“Stop trying to find balance. When you look at a scale that’s perfectly balanced, the number on the scale is zero. And so your attempt at trying to balance everything is zeroing out your results. You have the power to control what side of the scale to add or subtract based on your priorities and your values. So stop trying to balance everything.” – Eva Medilek

“It’s time to give yourself permission to stop doing everything and to stop looking for work-life balance because balance is not equal, and you get to control what side of your scale to adjust, add to, and subtract as you see fit. Do take back control of your life.”

“If you don’t determine what are your top three priorities, then you would be doing the lower priorities first and then you’d be sacrificing your higher priority items. So something would get sacrificed if you don’t choose what to focus on.”
