About our guest:

Lisa Erickson is an energy worker and meditation teacher specializing in women’s energetics and sexual trauma healing. She’s the author of Chakra Empowerment for Women, published by Llewellyn Worldwide. Lisa is also certified in mindfulness, meditation instruction, and trauma sensitivity, and has trained in various energy healing and somatic modalities.  She’s a member of the Breathe Network, a nonprofit supporting trauma informed holistic healing for sexual trauma survivors.

Lisa’s Story
Lisa began her career over 30 years ago in the technical field in New York City. As she dedicated herself into her work, she experienced intense stomach aches and headaches that doctors could not diagnose. One doctor suggested that the symptoms might be stress-induced and recommended trying a yoga or meditation class. This was an unusual suggestion at the time, but Lisa was fortunate to find a chakra meditation class, which helped her overcome her symptoms.

This experience sparked her curiosity about the power of meditation and energy medicine, leading her to explore these practices further. Eventually, her passion for these practices led her to shift her career path and help more people especially women understand the connection between mind, energy body, and physical body so they can achieve balance and holistic wellness.

  4. Remove unwanted negative energy in your body by doing the ‘centering fire’ practice to clear out your navel chakra
  5. Become aware of emotional shifts by tracking your emotions through journaling
